Ranch House Motel

We stayed at The Ranch House Motel in Bonita Springs, Florida for four nights. We were in room 1 next to the office and it looked exactly like their online photos. The room was incredibly clean, and the bathroom was up dated and the step in shower was ideal for a two women, 60s and 80s. I love the older state Highway motels from the 50s and 60s and this one was nicer than any I have stayed in. The vaulted ceiling was a nice surprise. We had a Large HDTV & Free HBO & Wi-Fi, and the plugs had adaptors for all of our divorces. The room was Affordable, and you will get your best rate booking direct through their website. The adjacent restaurant, Buffalo Chips Restaurant, was also a great experience. We had a 30 minute wait, but they provided a pager so we could enjoy the tiki bar and live music out back. The Ribs, Fish (Haddock) Tacos and BBQ Wings were recommended by frequent guests and they were delicious. Support locally owned businesses like these! The service was also prompt and friendly!

This is a very safe, clean, and affordable place to stay. The location is perfect because you have the ability to visit Beautiful Bonita springs and neighboring areas not far away like Fort Myers, Naples, Tin city etc... the beaches are not far from the motel and the airport is close as well. The attached restaurant has amazing food. The ribs and wings are delicious! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The owner Chip is very kind and we had a great conversation with him (very personable).. (Go MSU) We will be back! ~the Swirple family.

My husband and I stayed here with our fur baby. We loved the charm, the service, the cleanliness of the room and the restaurant. The staff were very courteous, the grounds were well kept, and the memorabilia inside the restaurant was impressive. There was a mini arcade and a Ms. Pac-Man game. The busy on-site restaurant served great chicken wings and had a wide variety of selections from the menu. We will be back.

Great local bar and restaurant, Buffalo Chips, in an old Bonita ranch style motel. Gotta love the authenticity, worn heavy wood chairs and tables, center bar, great bar menu. Everything we ate was great - good for large groups and families. Waitresses kept it hopping and food came out quickly, and they paid extra attention to the young ones we had with us. Perfect.

Spotlessly clean, nostalgic, quirky, and absolutely adorable. Really enjoyed my all-too brief stay here. The room had a full-size fridge, a microwave, and plenty of western-themed charm to spare. I popped into their renowned dive bar/restaurant for a quick beer. Wish I had time for a meal; the food smelled amazing! The motel has a friendly staff, unique vibe, and actual keys with key rings—terrific place!

We hadn’t even checked out yet before I wrote this, but I’m more than happy with our stay! The room was reserved as requested, very clean, tidy, and spacious. Our room has a full size refrigerator, microwave, and a small dresser. The beds are comfortable and clean. The ac works great, really made the room cold when we turned it on when we arrived. The bathroom is very clean and roomy. Plenty of clean towels, more if needed. (As well as basic hotel things like soap and conditioner) The restaurant that is a part of this motel was very busy but quick! We figured we could support small business and take advantage of where we are staying. I got the Buffalo burger and my sister got the Upscale grilled cheese. Both were delicious, done correctly, and fresh! The staff has been friendly - albeit very busy - but friendly nonetheless. I’d definitely recommend this cute place to anybody looking for an affordable motel and some delicious food! FYI they are also pet friendly!

Best value-based motel I've ever stayed at. Located in the heart of old Bonita Springs, lots to do and see. Their on premises restaurant, Buffalo Chips, had friendly and charming staff, really good burgers and wings, in a family friendly atmosphere. I'll be back.

This roadside motel does get a little roadside noise, but the location is convenient and safe. Kids use the sidewalks to bike and walk to school. There are buttons at crosswalks for pedestrians to stop traffic for safe passage. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance including a variety of Latin-centric foods. The supermarket across the street has full grocery and hot food. If that is too far, the motel is attached to a restaurant. The refrigerator/freezer are a substantial size. There's a microwave as well. The showers have shampoo/body wash/conditioner dispensers. I picked up complementary coffee from inside the restaurant. If you check in after 4pm, you must notify restaurant staff, as the motel office will bee closed. If it is after 9pm, the restaurant will also be closed, but they can apparently accommodate late check-ins. Check out is 11 am.

We were here for Buffalo Chips last Friday. I love their $11.99 Fish & Chip special, while my hubby had their tasty ribs, although the ribs weren't as tender this time. Great waitress.

I needed a quick, cheap place to stay with my dog. The rest of my family stayed in a hotel that was not pet friendly, so I was fretting for accommodations that weren't going to break the bank. Ranch House Motel was probably the best place I could have possibly found. It abuts a sports bar and felt like it could have been really loud, but my room was literally right next door, and I didn't hear a thing... which was good because I was tired. The beds were a little on the soft side, but very comfortable. The A/C was ice cold. I slept like a baby. The best part was that I lost my wallet in the rear parking lot... must have fallen from my pocket or something. Well... that was the worst part. But it was recovered by hotel staff and I got a call from Sally who sent it to my home within a week. Really all the motel staff were very friendly and very accommodating. If I ever have need to be back around Bonita Springs, I'll be going here first, and hitting up Buffalo Chips as well.
